WHAT IS HISTORY? What is a Source?


- study of change of time - Artifacts that have been left in the past
- study of past events - Exist either as relics, also called “remains”
- covers all aspects of human society - Testimonies of the witnesses to the past
- comes from the Greek word “historie”
which means “inquiry” or “to know” Relics or Remains

WHY STUDY HISTORY? - offers a clue about the past by virtue of
