Portfolio Reflection Essay

I have learned that my essays need to be more specific into what I would start talking

about. Giving information that leads to what I have gotten in the prompt. In addition to all my

given assignments that I did in this course, I had them in my passed English course. I saw the

assignments and had already an idea of how I was supposed to answer them.

In addition, making all my three essays was kind of hard because I had my peer review

from essay one in which it was alright for my peers,but looking at my professor’s comment when

she graded it. I immediately had an idea of how to do my essays. She had said that I didn’t have

that whole genre that I was trying to talk about. I thought the same thing that I wasn’t focusing

on just one simple genre trying to explain it itself, the essay with the example I gave to talk

about. I made revisions for the first essay. I basically put the information that I was giving in my

essay and put it a little more elaborated. I didn't want to change it that much ,but I tried to really

not ruin my essay. Making a reflection or revising an essay just trust yourself that by reading the

prompt you are able to answer the essay correctly. Having a first, second, and third draft can

really help fix the essay either delete some extra information or add more. Because I see a first

draft of an essay I think of it as getting ideas of the topic that I’m going to talk about. Setting up

the ideas in an order that they are able to fit in together to make sense into the essay. The second

draft is mostly like the first draft but not that much because it is showing how well it is going if it

is already making sense and understandment to the others when reading it.
 However moving on into the essay I talked about the image of the body. Some are mostly

girls seeing that they are fat and others are very super heavy to help. In essay 2 I talked about the

companies that are basically very helpful now to the community to help us know where the kids

are and where they live and other things that they are able to show you now. In the last essay I

talked about the Black Lives Matter trying to resolve the problems that they have gotten just

because they do not want to help the homeless ;but I bet that there is still going on.

In conclusion every essay takes time to be a perfect one. In these three essays I may have

said all of them I have watched ,but never in the movies it is always alright to leave and go to the

supermarket.
