1. Methods of speech delivery (Note: Explain each and include your sources.)
Answer:
There are four basic methods of speech delivery: manuscript, memorized, impromptu, and
extemporaneous.
Manuscript- A manuscript speech is when the speaker writes down every word they will speak
during the speech.
Memorized- A memorized speech is also fully prepared in advance and one in which the
speaker does not use any notes.
Impromptu- An impromptu speech is one for which there is little to no preparation.
Extemporaneous- An extemporaneously speakers prepare some notes in advance that help
trigger their memory of what they planned to say.

Informative Speech
This is the type that provides information history, theories, practical applications, and others of sort.
Persuasive Speech
This is where a speaker persuades or convinces his audience to believe his argument.
Entertainment Speech
This speech is when someone catches the attention of the audience because of his amusing
speech.
