Course Title: ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE NC II


Nominal Duration: 402 hours

Qualification Level: II
Course Description: This course covers knowledge, skills and attitude in electrical
installation. It deals with good housekeeping and safety,

Trainee Entry Trainees or students should possess the following requirements:


 Good moral character
 Able to communicate; and
 Physically and mentally fit

Requirements: TRAINER’S QUALIFICATIONS:


The instructor/trainer who will handle this course must possess the following
qualification:
 Have undergone training on Training Methodology II (TM II)
 Be a holder of at least National Certificate Level III, Building Wiring
Installation or its equivalent
 Be of good moral character
 Be a holder of CSC Professional eligibility (for government position) or
appropriate professional license issued by the PRC
 Be computer literate
 Be physically and mentally fit
 *Have 1 year relevant industry experience and/or teaching experience

Upon completion of each module, the trainee will be assessed through the
following methods:

Course Delivery:
The program will build on the present knowledge, skills and attitude of the
participants; thus the conduct will be highly participative. The strategies will focus
on interactive, self-directed and reflective approaches. Lecture-discussion,
demonstration method and hands on workshop will be included in the conduct of the
program.

Qualification of
Instructors/Trainers:
To qualify as trainer for Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC II level, a
person must:

 Be a holder of NTTC I in Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC II (or


higher)
 Have at least 2-years relevant industry experience and/or teaching
experience
