Introduction

Employment of persons with disabilities

Data on persons with disabilities are hard to come by in almost every country. Specific data on their
employment situation are even harder to find. Yet persons with disabilities face the same predicament
everywhere. These data, culled from the media and from reports, provide an anecdotal picture of the
current situation.

Global
In developing countries, 80% to 90% of persons with disabilities of working age are unemployed, whereas
in industrialized countries the figure is between 50% and 70%.

Philippines
According to the 2000 National Population Census of the National Statistics Office, the population of
persons with disabilities was 942,098, or 1.23% of the total population of 76,504,077. Of the total
population of persons with disabilities, 57.12% are employed, compared to 82.3% of the general
population.

-Therefore, the Gifted Café was created for all people with disabilities who desire to work.
Background

People with impairments usually getting less attention, because people usually think that they’re
useless .
people with impairments can help the economy by working or getting a job, but how can they
work if there’s no company will haired them.

So we’re going to make it possible for them, we’re going to build a café, hired them, train them,
and make them feel that they’re not different .

Don’t mind their condition, but their skills.

People who have disabilities typically receive less attention since they are perceived as being
useless.

By working or finding a job, people with disabilities can contribute to the economy, but how can
they do so if no employers will take them on?

Therefore, we're going to provide them the opportunity. We're going to establish a café, hire,
train, and moreover nurture them like everybody else.

Mind their talents rather than their appearance

Project description

This project goal is to make people with disability fell like they belong to normal world that they
not different

we’re going to build the café where the crew is disabled, in this particular place and we’re going
to convince people with disability to work here.

we’re going to conduct an interview the participants are the people with disability, the target
applicant must be 10 (ten) persons.
