1. As changes occur in the society, the teaching and learning processes also evolve over time.
What changes have you notice in classroom spaces now?
2. Record your findings below.

Classroom Environment Before

They only have a green board in front of the classroom.

Previously, students were supposed to be in classroom to learn.
When you report, you must have manila paper as your visual aids and paste it to the
board inside the room.
There are lots of chairs in the classroom because there are so many students.
You must go to the library if you need to look something.

Classroom Environment Now

We now have flat screens and projectors.

We can now take part in a virtual class through Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft
Teams.
We’re now using a Power Point presentation.
If doesn’t matter how many students are in the class because virtual classes can
accommodate them all.
If you need to look something up, you must use the computer, tablets and cellular
phones that is available in your classroom.

Learning Episode 2 The Learning Environment

What brought the changes in the learning environment now?

Today's school system is going through significant changes because of new educational
theories and technological advancements. And I think that the use of technology in the
classroom, which creates productive learning environments, is causing changes in the face-to-
face learning environment. There are spaces that must be reserved, among other things, and it
affects how chairs and tables are set up.

Do you think making the learning environment conduce will enable the learners to achieve
better learning outcomes? Explain your answer.

Yes, I think that if the classroom is comfortable, it lessens distractions inside the classroom,
the students will continually absorb the material, and they will learn how to think back and
reflect on the information they have learned. Learners are more likely to develop greater
motivation when educators build a positive learning culture, which results in excellent learning
outcomes.

As a teacher, how could make the learning environment safe and conducive for learning?

A study area that is quiet where students can concentrate, a conversation area where students
can talk, a games area where students can have fun, etc. As a result, the learning and teaching
processes can be facilitated in the classroom by both the students and the teachers.

OBSERVE

What common problems have I noticed in a face-to-face learning environment?

The clamorous atmosphere and crammed conditions inside and outside the classroom.

REFLECT

How would you solve this problem? Will it improve my teaching?

By developing and upholding the rules and regulations that students require to create a positive
and comfortable learning environment.
Yes, it helps me to get better at what I do so that I can concentrate more on the lesson and
provide my students a better learning experience. Additionally, it enables people to connect with
one another while maintaining a higher level of academic focus.

PLAN

What initial plan do you intend to do to solve the problem?

To help my kids practice netiquette both inside and outside of the classroom, I would create
something original. This helps students improve their values, attitudes, and level of discipline in
a particular setting.
