With this activity, you are expected to achieve the following learning
outcomes:

To provide clear and detailed information about ESP by means of argument and
discussion.

The activity consists of:

Individual
For the final exam of the course, you are going to write an academic paper including
the next items and following APA Rules:

- Title page

- Introduction (at least two well-structured paragraphs).

- Reflection on your main accomplishments along the course based on theoretical


references, syllabus that you created and the different activities that you completed
in the course. Put a meaningful title to this section (One page - 200 words at
least).

- Answers to the following 3 questions. Minimum a paragraph for each question. Use
APA citation if necessary.

1. What does learning about ESP imply in your professional life?

2. What ESP course would you like to create? Why?

3. How can the design and creation of an ESP course help language students better
prepare for a teaching job?

- Conclusions and suggestions to improve the course.

- References (here you must include the sources you used to write your
argumentative essay, and others that you may use to support your reflective text
about accomplishments along the course).

Your document must be between 3 to 5 pages long (including title page, task
development and references). Upload your 3 to 5-page academic paper in Word
format to the Evaluation Environment.

The document must follow the APA Rules format (front page, margins, titles, headers,
font size, line spacing (double spaced), indentation, citation, references, page
numbers, etc.).
