The

Gingerbread Man
A freebie from Julianne Schmitt @kinderpride!

@kinderpride
Every year in December I teach a big, two-week long Gingerbread
unit. We end our learning with a Reader’s Theatre-style play!

I have attached two scripts. The first script has the parts all the
same sized font. This can be used if you have advanced readers
that can read the narration.

The second script has the characters large. This is what I use for
my kindergarteners. I read the narration and the students read
each part.

We do this play in my classroom. We have a large die-cut for

gingerbread men. We decorate them with our faces and we put
what part we play.

I cannot find where I got that cute Santa Crom! I will edit this as
soon as I an find it. , but I have changed it up each year. I use a
light blue plastic tablecloth from Dollar Tree and green butcher
paper for the “set.” I also use a dark blue plastic table cloth from
Dollar Tree as the river that the fox swims along!

You can make this as BIG or small as you want! Have some fun
with it!
