Present 4 different markets and their demographic profile (example: dry goods market in Jaro, Mall in an
exclusive subdivision in Mandurriao, market in Arevalo, Urban Poor Village)
Assign a market to each group thru drawing of lots. The group analyzes the market needs and determine
the products or services that will answer the needs by considering their specialization, demography,
geography. The class sets a rubric for evaluation. The group writes their output on a manila paper and
presents to the class.
Explain
The groups explain their work and receive feedback from other groups on the basis of their viability,
profitability and customer needs
Why is it important to determine the market needs/ customer needs? Why does it matter in creating a
Business Plan?
Evaluation: Students’ participation in the class will be the basis for evaluation using the rubrics set by
them. Ask the students who they think the winner is
Extend
Assignment: Ask each student to make a formal proposal considering the markets and customers given
