Mathematics 10C - Course Outline

Semester 2, 2021-2022

Teachers Classroom Email

Mr. Wehnes 309 gjwehnes@cbe.ab.ca

Mathematics 10C is the starting point for the “-1” course sequence and the “-2” course sequence.
Each topic area requires that students develop a conceptual knowledge base and skill set that will
be useful to whatever course sequence they have chosen. The topics covered within a course
sequence are meant to build upon previous knowledge and to progress from simple to more
complex conceptual understandings.

A students progress in the course and their post-secondary interests combined with a teacher
recommendation will be used to determine whether a student should pursue Math 20-1 or Math
20-2 next year. Students and Parents are encouraged to research the admission requirements
of their program of interest.
