1. Identify the Problem:
PTCL Soft switch needs to be upgraded to provide better quality of service.
Soft switch is a virtual switch which provides voice, broad band and 3app service to its
subscribers.

2. Identification Decision criteria:

*System must support Voice Service , BB(Broad Band) IPTV


* system must support OTT over the top services Video Conferencing , Live HD Streaming, like
provided by Facebook, Twitter
* Must able to support existing services and smooth migration
* Should support multi vendor engagement to prelude vendor monopoly

Will compare these all above mentioned technologies with respect to PTCL criteria and
committee recommended the IMS.
We have also evaluated our decision and the initial response have been phenomenal. There has
been an increase in subscribers of face book and twitter , then save the data above of 18 million
people the have followers of face and twitter through the soft switch with servivors room .

Decision Making Approach:

Rationality: Our decision is based on rationality because we had all the information relevant to
the system must support OTT over the top services Video Conferencing, Live HD Streaming,
like provided by Face book, Twitter. More ever, we know that the possible outcome because soft
switch provide the fest service to our subscribers.
It was a good alternative because already company buy the other devices.
Moreover, by implementing the alternative the initial response have been positive and already
subscribe face the issue of our data saving safety .The have improve service of voice conference
call as well must able to support existing services and smooth migration.

DECISION-MAKING CRITERIA

Identify a problem:

It is noticed that customers are complaining regarding the quality of acne plus face wash and
people are demanding recovery of their money. The main issue is prices are high with respect to
the quality.

Identify Decision Criteria:

Company need to reduce its profit margin for lowering the prices of its soap. Company need to
record its customers reviews regarding the issue to upgrade its service and quality.
Company have to come up with new strategies like” buy one get one free” to increase the
customer pull,to increase its sales.
Company need to introduce policy, according to that 50% of product actual price will be
refunded to customers. As a result, company will succeed to satisfy its customers to much extent
and its reputation will be restored ultimately.

Now we are going to analyze each and every alternative based on the decision criteria that we
have set according to our requirements.

Select an Alternative:

We are going to choose Acne Plus Face Wash as the quality product of the company based on
the fact that it has the highest total weight-age.

Implement the Alternative:

We are selecting Acne Plus Face Wash as our main product and have more focus on its quality.
Evaluating the Decision Effectiveness:

We have evaluated effectiveness of our decision by measuring the increase in sales and customer
pull of company which was specifically due to this product Actin Plus Face Wash.

RATIONALITY:

Our decision is based on rationality, as we had all the relevant information about product’ sales ,
customer reviews, quality and outcomes. We also knew that Tulip’s Actin Plus Face Wash
reviews were already good, which could lead to results. It was a good alternative as people were
already buying Actin Plus Face Wash more than any other product.
Our problem was a structured problem because it was a straightforward problem and was easily
understood by the organization. Decision we made to our structured problem was programmed
decision.
