2nd BSG General Meeting Towards Soka Gakkai Centennial

My heartiest congratulations to one and all on holding most refreshing BSG

General Meeting today.
I would also like to thank our bright and capable youth who will be leaders
of the next generation for all your dedicated efforts and hard work!
Please be assured that I am there with you in spirit, proudly watching over
you as I exchange a firm handshake with each and every one of you in my
heart.

Nichiren Daishonin states, “At first only Nichiren chanted Nam-myoho-

renge-kyo, but then two, three, and a hundred followed, chanting and
teaching others. Propagation will unfold this way in the future as well. Does
this not signify ‘emerging from the earth’?” (WND-1, p 385)

The Soka Gakkai is an organization that accords with the Buddha’s intent
and decree that has realized this prophesy of the Daishonin in reality.
Today, the network dedicated to the peace and happiness of the people
based on the life-affirming philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism has spread
throughout Asia, including India, widely encompassing the entire globe.
Please be convinced that your mission is so profound it’s well beyond one’s
imagination and the benefits you enjoy are truly immeasurable.
It is therefore my ardent hope that you will always put into practice, the

teachings of the Daishonin that “the wise will rejoice” in the face of difficulties
and demonstrate great actual proofs of “human revolution” and victory based
on the Buddhist principle of “Buddhism is win or lose”.

My wife, Kaneko, and I are offering these sincere prayers from the bottom
of our hearts:
May each one of you enjoy great good fortune, benefits and be filled with
hope always!
May each one of you enjoy prosperity and harmony!
May each one of you enjoy good health and victory!
Please be assured that we shall continue to send our sincere daimoku to
you.
