Goal #1: Become better at planning and scaffolding my lesson plans so that I
am better prepared for the day and can focus on teaching.

● Refer back to the Program of Studies
often when planning to be able to
scaffold student learning
accordingly.
● Use tools such as calendars and
planners to keep me self on top of
lesson planning
● Direct communication with my TM
to get feedback and strategies.
● Direct communication with students
to make sure their individual
learning needs are being met.
● Consistent and detailed lesson plans
that scaffold intended learning
outcomes.
● Being more composed and confident
when teaching a lesson.
● Lesson plans that scaffold all types
of learners. Including IPPs and ESL
students.
● Well planned out lessons with extra
content planned if time permits.
● Book ended conversations at the
beginning and end of class so that
students know what they have and
are going to learn.

● Acknowledge that effort is the
biggest first step needed when
learning a people’s culture that is
not your own. Ask questions if
confused and apologize if mistakes
are made.

integration and is relevant to the
classroom content as well.
