    20PEB323 – Reservoir Modelling and Simulation

    Assignment 1 (Unit 1)

    Instructions:

    Create a static geological model of the formation. The structural top contour map of the
    formation is provided. You are required to

    1. Digitize the given contour map and export from the digitizing software in a suitable
    format.

    2. Import the digitized contour into CMG and create 3D grid structure with layer thickness
    say 3*25 = 75 feet. Total number of grid block should be less than 10,000.

    3. You can use the materials given but not limited to the same.

    You are required to submit a report in PDF format, containing the procedure followed with
    screen shot images. Also you are required to submit the .dat file saved from CMG-builder.

    Make necessary assumptions wherever required.

    Submission Due Date: 2 Weeks (08-02-2022)
