STRESS SURVIVAL KIT

MUSIC
In times of crisis (stress), music never fails. It’s like every tune
releases magic that will heal you, that will make your soul calm and
it relieves stress. For me, songs with slow tempo relax my mind and
the lyrics always reassure that everything will be alright. They were
like gates to a different world and it really helps me tranquilize or
even kill every monster that are growing inside me. I’ve seen an
article saying that music helps us regulates our emotions. I’m really
bad at controlling myself so music will always be part of my
everyday life.

SLEEP
I don’t want sleep when I was a kid but now, sleeping helps me so
much in coping up with stress in my everyday life. I’m a lazy person
and doesn’t want to move that much so when there’s nothing to do, I
sleep or just lay down on my bed. I sometimes over think that laying
down too much will make me sick or form some diseases, but I think
that sleep is really powerful. Laying down after a long day will always
be the best feeling. It was like I was being charged when sleeping and
it really calms me because after waking up, the stress already flew
away. I’ve also read that sleeps helps in memory consolidation and it
improves my mind. I’m not really getting enough sleep these days but
I never forget to use this during crisis (stress).

THE SKY
The sky is everything because for me, it includes the rain, the
rainbow, the clouds, the wind, the Earth, the moon and stars, and
God. It is literally everything. The sky is like the best kit for
survival in times of stress. I don’t know if I’m just making it deep
but the sky, really, is deep and vast. When I stare at it, I was like
being brought into the space where everything will be controlled.
It’s infinite and it’s the best kit for me because the limitless area
it covers makes me think that I’m not even a crumb of it, so why
let myself be engulfed by stress or by the chaos inside me. The
sky is an indication that I’m not alone and there is always God
beside me. I always stay inside our house so the sky is like the
save-the-best-for-last secret weapon that will relieve all the
stress.
