President Rodrigo R. Duterte

Malacañang Palace, Manila

Dear Mr. Duterte:

First of all, I am writing this letter to you because I salute your integrity to your respected
position and especially to your fellow Filipino people despite of the pressure brought by the
COVID-19 and its aftermath to our beloved country. And as a concerned citizen, I do want to
emphasize my opinions which may alleviate our current situation about the said disease.

Recently, I have read about the news with regards to the skyrocketing cases of COVID-19.
Because of that, I do recommend employing more health workers and distribute vaccines to
fasten up vaccinating citizens in every part of the country. Since they are now receiving their
hazard pays, I do believe that they will be able to continue their service with no resentments. As
for the filling of hospitals, I do recommend using unused, near facilities but far from the
unaffected citizens as an extension. If possible, companies could rent their free establishments to
the hospitals for a wider space for patients. And lastly, about the health workers’ threat to Health
Minister Duque, I simply recommend to not give too much attention to it. Please bear in mind
that the priority for now is to prevent the rising cases of COVID-19 and to save the infected
ones.

Even if my recommendations would not be effective in your perception, I am still be grateful for
you have given your attention to my little voice. I do want to say that you have my deepest trust,
and together with our fellow Filipino citizens, we can win against COVID-19!

Sincerely,

Dranscel John L. Pulido
