Radov Luchezar was born in the town of Varna on 31.10.1969. and he is currently
living in Varna-Bulgaria.Member for Creative Alliance of Professional artists of Russia
He has been painting since a very young age, but after he turned 30, he completely
devoted his life on landscape painting,strongly influenced by his teacher,artist Anatoli
Panagonov and the unique
Russian School of Art, mainly following the technique of Polenov,
Ayvazovski, Levitan.
Mastering this remarkable skill set, his paintbrush
created an artwork that strongly expressed his extraordinary talent to
reproduce the beauty of the Bulgarian nature. Without any academic bias,
this naturally-gifted painter is recognized by a number of art galleries
and collectors. After a number of personal and collective exhibitions, his
paintings have been acquired by a large number of private art galleries in
Bulgaria, as well as in private collections abroad.

INTERPRETATION
The picture reflects an old city of the town full of busy people who work day in and day
out very sincerely that can be seen very clearly along with a horseman that seems like a
merchant or deputy who came for the inspection purpose, a child that looks like it's
terrified and lost and a man that's roaming around for joy. The buildings picturize the
late 1800s buildings but the area in the picture relates to a remote area where there is
less development but the greenery behind the houses capture the attention and forces
us to think whether the people are fond of farming. The buildings specifically contain
small shops for various purposes which reflect the whole area is a shopping area. Use
of horse as a source of transport,we can say they are backward in sense of technology.
The artist has demonstrated colors very nicely, He has used different color value plans
to describe the scene. He tries to make the scene realistic. The painting shows a
contrast of light and dark colors giving it a retro look from the mixture of these dark and
brownish colors. The artist has used dark and light values to make the scene viewers
realize that this place is any rural area or village, However if we look closely we see a
house with broken wall through which the artist has tried to depict the financial
conditions of the people residing there possibly, he wants to depict they are close to
poverty do not have much resources to even renovate their houses and the rooftops
made of bushes (He has used brush strokes for fine detailing of the bushes) with
bamboos being used instead of steal supports and dirty shades over the doors and
windows support his depiction very well. The artist has also communicated the weather
of the village by showing people wearing warm clothes, we can easily see an old man
with heavy clothes in sunlight possibly there to take sunbath in winters ,other people
can also be seen in heavy coats and the chimneys over the roofs claim the weather of
the that area mostly remains cold. Figuratively we can say the day is Sunday, seeing no
crowd in place and the sunlight which tells us the time is in between
10-11 am shops are just being opened which can be figured out from the ladies waiting
beside footpath with empty baskets and a man close to them dusting out store/house
front. Behind those ladies we can see instruments of labors, which help us to figure it is
possibly a shop of laborer, we also a lamp hanging in the shade of the window which
would be used at night for light as it is a village there is no electricity , we also a cat
outside the shop of laborer which might be waiting for food and it might be most likely
the laborer gives her food. There’s a butcher’s shop as well ahead we can figure from
clothes of two men. A man outside the shop opposite the ladies looks like as if he just
came out of bed for purchasing some material for breakfast and in an drowsy state
waiting for the shopkeeper to supply him the material of breakfast, and on a small
distance from laborer's shop we see a lady possibly a maid (from her clothes) to some
royal family of village holding some purchased goods in one hand and giving payment
to shopkeeper goods look like as if used for cleaning purpose. On the corner we see a
shop with opened door and outside that we benches available for seating ,might be
some restaurant opened up early and close to that we see lady a bit tensed looking for
something in her purse, it could be like she dropped some valuables.
