Capstone Update #1

What have you accomplished so far on your Capstone project? If nothing, why?

I’ve sketched out the design for one of my characters, the alien. I want to have 2 or 3 characters, 2
would probably be better

What do you plan to accomplish by the end of this week? How will you hold yourself accountable?

I want to come up with a second character and start my storyboard. I’m going to use my flex time and
probably some time in art class as well to work on this.

Your needs, including time, space, materials, and personal contacts

Right now, I'm doing everything on paper, but I know once I get into animating everything's going to be
on my computer. I already have the program I'm going to use so I don’t have to worry about that. Other
than that, I need to come up with ideas for a second character, story, and what the animation is going to
be of.

Any obstacles you anticipate and your plan to overcome them

As I've researched it's come up a lot that animation takes a lot of time, so I know I'm not going to be able
to make the entire film as I was originally planning. I’m going to shorten it to a trailer or snippet of what
I was originally planning to make.
