Capstone Update #4

What have you accomplished so far on your Capstone project?

I've finally got some good progress made on the animation. As for the tutorial I was following, I’m going
to stop working on that as I have what I needed to get out of it. Now that I know how the program
works and the process of animating it's been going smoothly.

What do you plan to accomplish by the end of this week? How will you hold yourself accountable?

I plan to get the in-betweens done this week, and to do that I just have to use my time effectively which
has been a struggle but has been getting better as I get better at using the program.

Your needs
Right now, I really just need to kick into gear and get work done. I have everything I need to make the
animation, I just have to do it.
What your interactions with your mentor(s) have been so far. If nothing, why? What is your plan?
I haven't actually reached out to anyone with the purpose of continually mentoring me on this project. The
only real reason for that is I haven't needed to. I've gotten advice from my friends when I was designing
characters and coming up with the story, and a couple of weeks ago I went to an open house at CapU
where I asked the teachers of the animation program there for some tips and advice on how to go through
the process of animating. They gave me some great tips, and I've kept researching on my own as well. My
plan going forwards is to just keep in mind the advice I've been given and if there is something I need
help with I can search it up and find out.
Any obstacles you anticipate and your plan to overcome them
The only obstacle I really see right now is time. Not having enough time to finish this. I know I can work
faster, but the learning curve has really slowed me down. Now that I know what I'm doing, my
productivity has already improved so I plan to continue as I am.
