Objectives:

At the end of the Lesson, the students will be able to:


A. Identify and describe the 4 basic shapes;
B. Relate the shapes and objects around the environment;
C. And to give at least 3 examples of different objects correspond of each shape.

1 Daily Routines

I. Greetings

Goodmorning pupils!
Everyone: Goodmorning Sir!

Before we start, stand up everyone and let's pray


Everyone: Picking up thrash
Before sitting down kindly pick up the thrash in front of
you.

2. Motivation

So here I have prepared a picture

Any idea what you see in here? Roxanne: Sir, I see train

Goodjob Roxanne, another answer? Mark: Sir, there's a house

So today's lesson is about the 4 Basic Shapes

As you can see in the picture there are 4 different kinds


of shape and it only takes 4 shapes for you to see train
and house
for your information these 4 shapes are the most
common we see in our environment these shape are the:

as you notice, they doesn't have edges and they are


round.

These are some of the objects that has a circle shape

Can you guys look around and give me another example


for a circle shape?

The next one is the triangle, triangle has three sides and
three corner

The third is the square, in square, square has 4 sides, 4


corners and all it's sides are equal

And the last one is


A rectangle has one pair of short and long sides

As you can see, there are a lot of things that are shaped
like squares and rectangles

Can some one give me examples for a shape rectangle?

Now that you've learned and can Identify the shapes let's
go back on the picture earlier.
So how many circles are there in this picture?

Robert you're raising your hand Robert: I see 4, Sir

How about the square?

The last one is rectangle, how many rectangle are there

In one whole bondpaper draw at least two shapes of the 4 basic shapes and write at least three example of
that object.
