Sub: Proposal for purchase of Books and IS, IEC for the office of the General Manager (P&E), AEGCL,
Narengi.

Procurement of some books and Indian Standard (IS), IEC as a reference is necessary to assist and answer
different questions arises during design related works. Most of the books available in this office are related to the
33KV voltage level and few books available for AEGCL are of very old publication. Moreover some new IS and IEC
are required for recent implementation of SCADA, SAS and optical network.

In this connection a Proforma invoice along with price list is collected from National Books Company, New
Delhi. Based on the Proforma Invoice an estimate is prepared amounting to Rs. 3,05,815.00(three lakh five
thousand eight hundred fifteen only) and with discount it will be Rs. 2,88,752.00(two lakh eighty eight thousand
seven hundred fifty two only) including tax for the purchase of the Books, IS and IEC.

Administrative approval for purchase of books as per list attached has already been obtained vide letter no.
AEGCL/MD/Tech-241/Pt-VI/LATTC/101 dtd. 29.5.2018.

The amount is to be booked against "Other GA expenses of HQ GA Fund, 2018-19".

Now, the above proposal along with a copy of the Proforma invoice, price list (with discount) along with list of
Books, IS and IEC is put up before the ZPC for discussion and decision.
