JOB PROFILE
 Design Review of EPC and Vendors Overall detailed Engineering and Standard
Specification with respect to Instrument system activities to ensure compliance with
the scope of work.
 Review for various I&C system like DCS Logics, SAT procedure, Commissioning
procedure, System Description, Control Philosophy, Data Sheets, Location & Installation
Drawings, Hook up, P&ID, PFD Drawings etc.
 Working as an INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL ENGINEER in detailed erection,
construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning of instrumentation activities in
Power Plant, Oil & Gas, and petro chemicals.
 Familiar with standards ISA, IEEE, ASTM, NAMUR, ASMI, ANSI, NEMA, IEC, NFPA etc.
 Supervision for the laying of Control / Instrumentation / Fiber-optic / Other network
cables in the Cable trays, trenches, underground & along with proper termination
including with conduit sealing / proper Lugs
 Actively Conducting the Factory Acceptance Test & Site Acceptance Test for I&C Related
Packages as OE role
 Actively lead the Site construction supervision activities like erection, installation,
Testing, Quality Assurance, Loop Checking, Witnessing of FAT / SAT, Troubleshooting,
Pre-commissioning, and Post commissioning of I&C Components and Plant Main
Control system (DCS / PLC / SIS) in thermal / CCGT power plant and as well as oil & gas
projects
 Testing of DCS, PLC, UPS (Earth test, Cable Loop & Continuity Test, Megger Test, Logic
Test, Control Network Test, Redundancy Test etc.)
 Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and
checklists.
 Efficient troubleshooting and optimization of the Field instruments & Control Systems.
 Validation of Control System Logics like OCLS and CLCS in the DCS / PLC / SIS.
 Modification of CLCS / OLCS logics as per process condition / site condition based.
 Maintaining of all kinds of reports like ITR approved reports, Instrument calibration
Reports, FAT & SAT reports for PCS / SIS and PLC Panel, TG Panel, Pre-commissioning

handover to operation
