Duties & Responsibilities:

 Performing activities as per Inspection Test Plan and Method Statement for various activities involved in the
construction of Petrochemical Plant, as per given Project Specification and relevant International Standards and
getting approvals from the client.

 Coordinating with client inspection department at various stages of fabrication activities and getting approval.

 Co-ordination with Client in clearing the system for Hydro Testing.

 Material receiving Inspections.

 Inspection for Flange Orientation.

 Gasket color code Inspection.

 Inspection for Pipe Erection as per isometric drawings.

 Preparation of punch list of piping system.

 Prepare Hydro test package and its routings.

 Inspection of pipe and fabrication.

 Ensure that relevant specifications and procedure are accessible, reviewed and understood, before commencing the
work.

 visual inspection of welds and fit-ups

 Work with senior engineers to facilitate the safe execution of all project scope of work on site.

 Monitoring for Piping material receiving handling and storage.

 Carrying out the piping supervision before, during and after joining operation.

 Ensure that all works are carried out as per the Project Specifications, Inspection & Test Plan. Method of
Statement and as per the updated IFC Drawings.

 Monitoring release of accepted materials to construction and follow up to return the rejected material to
supplier for the replacement.

 Implementing spool identification system.

 Conducting daily toolbox meeting.

 Monitoring daily progress status.

 Co-ordination of NDT

 Updating daily NDT repair status and marking of repair at site.

 Conducting fit up and dimension inspections as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and to provide technical
guidance for welding sequence and distortion control.

 QC inspection and monitoring the quality for every stage of work in progress which comply with the Clients
specification.

 Submitting daily reports to QC Manager and verify QC Inspection reports and testing.

 Checking all the documents before submitting for inspection like, approved material submittal copy, approved
and latest revision of drawings, etc.

 Liaison with QC Inspectors of Client to conduct inspection to which ever scheduled program.

 Auditing material receiving and issue report and their traceability.

 Preparation of daily inspection reports.

 To identify products and materials and specifically in the case of alloy steels through Positive Material Identification per
the applicable drawings and specifications

 QC inspection and monitoring the quality of work in every stage.

 Check Materials certification and identification on receipt of materials and equipment from vendor.

 Coordinating with project team inspectors regarding quality and safety

 Monitor and verify that the work execution and implementation are as per approved procedures, approved
specifications, and approved drawings.

 Preparation of weld map

 Checking & witnessing for Foundation acceptance to storage tanks for site works.

 Site inspection during the fabrication of field storage tanks.

 Raising RFI on EPM system.

 Closing RFI on EPM system.
