Follow Up Questions:

1. How is each term understood in your being Maka kalikasan?

- Every term is understood as being my Makakalikasan because anytime I
hear the word environment, I immediately think of distress, hazards,
non-governmental organizations, care, and reduction. These phrases are
always related to one another. Distress can be either man-made or
natural, and risk is the danger that the tragedy may bring. There are
non-governmental groups that take special care of the environment
because the government is unable to properly preserve and secure both
people and the natural environment on its own. These environmental
organizations are also educating the public about distress prevention
techniques or procedures and sharing the information to have cared for
the environment because individuals have a significant part in
environmental care or neglect. We must constantly be aware of what is
going on in our surroundings and at the very least consider how we might
contribute, even in modest ways.
2. Enumerate kinds and/or ways of the terms stated.
● Distress - Natural hazards such as landslides, volcanic eruptions, destructive
earthquakes, tsunamis, and typhoons
● Risks - Probable loss of life, injury, or valuables destroyed or damaged
● Non-government Organizations - Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism,
ChildHope Asia, Habitat for Humanity Philippines (HFHP), Pro-Life Philippines.
Philippine Red Cross, Haribon Foundation.
● Care - Reduce, reuse, and recycle. Cut down on what you throw away. Volunteer.
Educate. Conserve water.
● Reduction - Instead of plastic bags, use paper bags. The clothes you wear should
not be discarded and be recycles.
