GreenLatinos Website Redesign RFP
GreenLatinos Website Redesign RFP
Introduction
GreenLatinos is an organization committed to fighting for environmental liberation. We
convene Latino/a/x leaders from across the country in various sectors to advocate for
policies that reduce the impact of climate change Latino/a/x communities.
Problem Statement
Our current website is incapable of full seamless integration with our CRM everyaction.
It’s also outdated and uses Wix, which inhibits creative freedom. Our members have
trouble navigating the membership portion of the website and therefore we lose an
opportunity for continued digital engagement. It is also not accessible to people in the
disabled community as well as non-native English speakers.
Proposed Solution
GreenLatinos is seeking a freelancer or agency to rebuild our website.
Our ideal website will offer more engagement opportunities for members and
nonmembers, seamlessly integrate with our EveryAction CRM account, and improve
accessibility for bilingual (English and Spanish) and visitors with a disability. It also
means ensuring that the website has improved security features that can prevent
spamming on any publicly accessible pages.
The website should also be GreenLatinos brand heavy with an eye on the rich tapestry
of Latino/a/x multicultural history and heritage as inspiration. We would also like for the
website to carry over the content that has already been created for our existing website.
We believe there will be about 30 final webpages as well as 42 blog items and 75 press
releases to migrate.
Budget
Our budget for this project is approximately $15,000.
Timeline
This entire RFP will be hosted and managed through Prosal. We want this website
started before or around early January and expect to launch in April of 2023. Below is a
more detailed timeline of the RFP process and website work:
Goal(s)
● A website with seamless integration into Everyaction.
● A website that is easily accessible to Spanish speakers.
● A website that is easily accessible to people in the disabled community.
● A website with cutting edge design that allows for multimedia integration.
● A website that our members can access and have a personal login, and can
connect with other members easily.
Must-Haves
● We must have seamless integration with Everyaction.
● We must have a website that is fully bilingual from English to Spanish.
● We must have a website that is accessible to all in the disabled community.
● We must have a website that allows for members to login and access
members-only exclusive content/areas.
Our secondary target audience included policymakers, their staff, and members of the
media who can use this website to inform themselves on important issues.
Additional Info
Our organization is Latino/a/x-led and mainly serves a Latino/a/x audience. We believe
that for best cultural competence and understanding, we will take preference to
vendors/contractors that are also Latino/a/x/-led.
