This study examined the extent of pre-marital sex practices among secondary school students in Nigeria. Researchers administered questionnaires to 844 students to collect information on their sexual behaviors. The results showed that 16% of students engaged in penetrative vaginal sex, anal sex, oral sex, and masturbation, while 84% did not. However, the overall level of pre-marital sexual activity among these students was low. The researchers concluded that school administrators and parents should provide more guidance and awareness programs to educate youth on the dangers of pre-marital sex.
