INTRODUCTION
The fan essentially comprises a radial fan impeller ( mounted on shaft supported in antifriction
bearing) and the housing designed as guide unit. The impeller and the shaft are dynamically
balanced.
The housing of welded steel plate design is split so that the impeller can be mounted and
dismantled without any problem.
Observation
Cooler ESP is a critical process fan in the kiln area. A continuous monitoring of such fan is
required to understand the trend of the machine and to predict the possible defect.

In previous shutdown Dec. 2021. Inspect the fan bearings condition where not observed
rotational looseness and with offline inspection of impeller was observed regular worn out of
blades.

In this planned stoppage decided to replace the impeller with new one in stock.

On 26.09.2022, After complete fixed new impeller taking trial with 460 rpm where the
vibration is good but must be run the fan with full speed to make sure its condition.

From above photo of timewave little amplitude of vibration was observed without any impacts compare
with old impeller.
