a) Why do we use passive voice in English?
b) Provide examples of where we can find passive voice being used.
c) Identify the steps in changing an active sentence to a passive sentence.
d) Find an article/website/blog/social media post that uses passive voice.

STEP 1 , IDENTIFY THE SUBJECT , THE VERB AND THE OBJECT OF

THE ACTIVE SENTENCE
STEP 2 , MOVE THE OBJECT TO BECOME THE NEW SIBJECT OF THE
SENTENCE.
STEP 3 , CHECK THE ACTIVE SENTESE. wHAT IS THE VERB TENSE. This
is really important. We must check what the active sentence is in to make the
passive sentence correct.

C. Identify the steps in changing an active sentence to a passive sentence

Step 1 : Identify the subject , the verb and the object of the active sentence.
Step 2 : Move the object to become the new subject of the sentence.
Step 3 : Check the active sentence. In the active sentence, what is the verb tense? This is essential
because the passive voice exists in various tenses, so we must check what tenses the active sentence
is in to make the passive sentence correct.
