Online or off-line?

Cristina Bogdan

Covid-19 has affected the education for kids of all ages. Everyone
adapted to the situation we were in, with online school, online sport, online
cooking, and many other activities.

The first time I heard about online school, I was excited… but I instantly
noticed the pros and cons.
Online learning isn’t as effective as off-line learning. I’ve asked plenty
of people about their focus on online school, and everyone told me that they
have a hard time concentrating, meanwhile off-line school keeps their mind
from drifting away.
Online learning is way more accessible than off-line school. A few
friends of mine live far away from school, and they were always late to classes.
So online learning is way more convenient.
Online education has ruined my mental and physical health completely.
2021 and 2022 were horrible years. I had missing homework or turned in late, I
couldn’t keep up with courses and I didn’t do any sports.
At the end of primary school, I had to say goodbye to my teacher, online.
It was hard for me; I was emotionally attached to her.
My relation with my friends didn’t change much. We managed to talk
every day. But because of the pandemic, I’ve found my real friends and my fake
ones.

Nevertheless, both online and offline education have their own

considerable set of advantages and disadvantages.
