ACTIVITY NO. 3
Human Person and Values Development
My Sensitivity/Emotion
My feelings are very sensitive. If you see me,
I’m sad I have a problem. So that if I have a
problem, I cry and I talk to God why he
gives me such kind of a problem also I
contented in a simple thing that I receive.
Intelligence
I’m not a smart person in comes of problem
solving or in school but I doing my best to
pass all the activities and exam.
1. How would you go about getting cohesion among a team who disagree?
I get his/her idea and tell to the other members if someone agree or else
my idea and his/her idea I decide that members vote where they agree
and the high vote is can follow the decision.
2. What is the appropriate leadership style to lead your team in the light of the
global epidemic, quarantine and remote leadership?
For me the appropriate leadership style is the participative leadership to
the member because if the leader is participating the member as will as.
1. Define the following: majority vote, handclasp, silent consensus, clique and
team self-leadership.
Majority vote- is when candidate is elected only when majority of votes
from the voters is the based of being pass.
Handclaps- is the sign of being approve or praise and handclaps is noise
but sound is perfect.
Silent consensus- it is the basses that they approved or like of what you
want.
Clique- it is a group of people and sharing interest each of everyone but
they don’t allow the others to join.
Team self-leadership- It is described how you lead yourself as an individual
and you know how to chose the best for your self like for example in
choosing a course that would you want to proceed to be a better person
and to be a good leader in the organization.
4. How do you react to instances that require immediate decisions? How does
the importance and intensity of the situation affect your thought process?
I ask to the leader or who make that kind of decision that if that decisions
everyone agree because if the leader make a decision member has a
freedom question if that decision is good for the team or organization.
1. The Good Citizenship Values based on the 1987 Philippine Constitution had
been clustered into four areas. Choose any one of the four clusters and
explain them.
In the four areas of cluster, I choose values because if you have values, you
are considering a faithful, respectful, caring, respect law and government
and patriotisms.
5. Do you believe that the preamble is the key to the Constitution? Explain
why?
For me yes, because preamble is the knowledge in all constitutions has
been made. It provides a standard to test and evaluate laws and action of
government to find out if it is good or bad, so that preamble is the reason
why government has an idea to run.

Nationalism and National Pride
2. Why are your proud of being a Filipino? Choose any 5 of the national
symbols that make our country known to other countries. Make a collage
of these national symbols.
I’m proud of being a Filipino because Filipino is very helpful to every one
who needs and ready to face the difficult thing in times. Filipino people are
always welcomed even they unknown people also loving and caring that’s
why I love my country Philippines.
3. In teaching nationalism as a LTS student, what nationalistic and patriotic
activities will you undertake and promote in the community?
The activities that I will undertake and promote is during Rizal’s day I want
that all people having a parade and wave our Flag of Philippines while the
others holding the picture of our hero Jose P. Rizal and sing our national
anthem “Lupang hinirang”. That activity I make is symbolize that we as a
Filipino we are proud and show our love of our country.
4. The Filipino Civic Code was formulated to ensure that patriotism can be
developed. Explain how the following can foster patriotism: reverence for
heroes, respect for law and authority, and justice and righteousness.
Patriotisms foster to the reverence for heroes, because of our heroes we
have a freedom to do what we want but in a good doing and if we have
no law and authority there’s no peace in our country, also without justice
and righteousness people do anything they want even it can hurt into
others and we can’t react even we are hurting.
He was born on June 19, 1861 in Calamba, Philippines and he died on December 30, 1896 in
Manila. Jose Rizal was a patriot, physician as known as a man of letters and who was an
inspiration to the Philippines nationalist movement. He was studied in the University of Madrid in
Manila. A brilliant medical student, he soon committed himself to the reform of Spanish rule in
his home country. In 1887, Rizal was published his first novel “Noli Me Tangere” a passionate
exposure of the evils of Spanish rule in the Philippines also he publishes “El Filibusterismo” on
1891. Also, he become a leader of Propaganda Movement but he was arrested and tried for
sedition by the military. Found guilty, he was publicity execute by a firing squad in Manila. On the
eve of his execution, while confirmed in fort Santiago, Rizal wrote “Ultimo adion” (last farewell)
a masterpiece of 19th century Spanish verse.
ANDRES BONIFACIO Y DE CASTRO
He was born on November 30, 1863 and he died on May 10, 1897. He was a Filipino
revolutionary leader the president of the Tagalog Republica he called “The Father of
the Philippines Revolution” and the supreme leader of KKK “Kataas-taasang,
kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng anak ng bayan” or commonly known as the
“Katipunan”. The first of six children of Catalina de Castro and Santiago Bonifacio
the alcalde of Tondo. He learned an alphabet through his mother’s sister. He was
enrolled in Guillermo Osmena’s private school and learned English while employed
as a clerk-messenger by a British firm. Bonifacio was blessed with good hands in
craftsmanship and visual arts that he made canes and paper fans, which he and his
young siblings sold. In his late teens, he worked as a mantadario (agent) for the
British trading firm Fleming and Company, where he rose to become a
corridor(broken) of tar, rattan and other goods. He was also a theater actor and
often played the role of Bernardo Carpio, a fictional character in Tagalog Folklore.
Bonifacio first wife, Monica, was his neighbor in Palomar, tondo. She died of leprosy
and they have no recorded children. In 1892 he meets 18-year-old Gregoria de
Jesus through his friend Teodora Plata, who was the one of founding member of
Jose Rizal’s La Liga Filipina, an organization which called for political reforms in
Spain’s colonial government of the Philippines.
ACTIVITY NO. 12
The Good Citizenship Value of Patriotism
1. Explain the learning outputs of at least two (2) Good Citizenship Values.
Faithful in Almighty God- we as people has a big mistake in the world, we
can’t never remove in our mind that there is a God to protect and provide.
So that being faithful is the best doing for our self not only for yourself but
also for everyone.
Love- love to each other is the key of peaceful mind. If you love someone
it show also a sharing and respecting to everyone.
