1. What can I say about myself in the following categories?

problem, I cry and I talk to God why he
gives me such kind of a problem also I
contented in a simple thing that I receive.

Leader and Leadership Defined

Direction: Answer the following questions exhaustively. (5 points each)

1. What makes you an effective team leader?

If I were be a team leader, I must be confident because if I’m
confident I serve the decision that I make for my team member.

2. What symptoms of team problems that you commonly encountered?

Describe and explain the problems and your own ways of solving
them. The problem I commonly encountered in a team is the
member doesn’t care in a leader who makes a decision just like
in school if has a group activity some member is “dawlims” so
that to solve that kind of problem if I leader I individually assign
of every chapter of activity and I advise them that they need to
do the assign task because if you can’t answer our grade is low.

3. Describe how dictators differ from facilitators in terms of decision-making.

Dictators is the one who makes a decision that good for
everyone and the facilitators is the one who facilitate and follow
the rules of dictators. For example, in political, the president is the
dictator he/she make a decision to the people and the
facilitator is facilitating the community or people what was good
doing in what a president wants.

4. What is the difference between a team leader and a team manager?

Manager is focus in organization and they give talk to their team
while leader is the model to have a creative and approach to a
problem.

5. As a leader, how do you get others to accept your ideas?

As a leader if I make a decision, I must tell it to my member if
she/he agreed to my decision before I finalize my decision.

Leadership Styles

Direction: Answer the following questions exhaustively. (5 points each)

1. How would you go about getting cohesion among a team who disagree?
I get his/her idea and tell to the other members if someone agree or else
my idea and his/her idea I decide that members vote where they agree
and the high vote is can follow the decision.

2. How do you go about resolving conflict?

I identify the issue to be clear what the problem is and talk each other to
solve the problem.

3. How do you delegate responsibilities to your team?

So, in delegating responsibility to my team is in the way of being a model
because if a leader makes a decision it is need to till his/her member if they
agreed in my decision before, I continue doing the activities to have a
supportive member.

4. What do you do to remain engaged in a conversation?

I ask a question that showing my engaged because the best ways to show
engagement is by expressing a natural curiosity for what other people is
telling me.

5. What is the most significant change that you brought to an

organization/team?
The most significant change that I brought to an organization/team is being
a good member that I support to my leader.

The Characteristics of an Effective Team and Team Leader

Direction: Answer the following questions exhaustively. (5 points each)

1. What makes a good team leader?

A good team leader is the best model in their members for having good
out comes in the decision that make and the member is need to be
confident, honest and sharing their thoughts to their team.

2. What is the appropriate leadership style to lead your team in the light of the
global epidemic, quarantine and remote leadership?
For me the appropriate leadership style is the participative leadership to
the member because if the leader is participating the member as will as.

3. Cite the differences between a team leader and a coach?

Leader is can’t be in position without authority and the best leader
demonstrated by self-action that words, while coach is the one who
focused to help the members and makes abilities to achieve the desired
outcomes.

4. How do you determine if a task or project is at risk?

I determine in the form of checking a list if that project is important or
unimportant to the company or in team and I apply the Strength-
Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats Analysis or SWOT analysis because it
assists the inherent risk in the project.

5. What do you do if there’s a disagreement within your team?

I get the idea of a member who disagree my decision and I give a time to
explain why he/she disagreeing my decision.

Importance of Decision Making and Kinds of Decision

Direction: Answer the following questions exhaustively. (5 points each)

1. Define the following: majority vote, handclasp, silent consensus, clique and
team self-leadership.
Majority vote- is when candidate is elected only when majority of votes
from the voters is the based of being pass.
Handclaps- is the sign of being approve or praise and handclaps is noise
but sound is perfect.
Silent consensus- it is the basses that they approved or like of what you
want.
Clique- it is a group of people and sharing interest each of everyone but
they don’t allow the others to join.
Team self-leadership- It is described how you lead yourself as an individual
and you know how to chose the best for your self like for example in
choosing a course that would you want to proceed to be a better person
and to be a good leader in the organization.

2. If you are involved in a decision-making process, in which classification of

decision will you belong to? Why?
It could be an Analytical decision-makers, because it makes be carefully
analyze the data to have a good solution and to compile the date and
evidence first before to finalize the conclusion.

3. How do you make important decisions?

To make an important decision I compile all the chapter of my decision if it
is good for me not only for also for others before I finalize my decision.

4. How do you react to instances that require immediate decisions? How does
the importance and intensity of the situation affect your thought process?
I ask to the leader or who make that kind of decision that if that decisions
everyone agree because if the leader make a decision member has a
freedom question if that decision is good for the team or organization.

5. In working with colleagues on a joint project, how would you divide

responsibilities? Also, how do you arrive at this choice?
I divide responsibilities in the way of giving a different task connected to the
topic because that’s the way that every group member has a responsibility
to do the task and to know what was the topic all about.

1. What are the four pillars of self-leadership?

The four pillars of self-leadership are; Purposefulness, Mindfulness, Reflection
and Practice.

2. What are the roles of self-leaders?

Be motivated to influence others and be good learner for being a better
person, develop your knowledge, skills, and abilities to help the organization
to achieve the goals.

3. How effective are you as a self-leader?

Self-leadership is important because it is needed to accomplish your
objectives and to be a good leader to everyone. Good leader has an
ability to lead and to support the team so that the member will support you.
Self-leadership actually benefits the organization as a whole, in addition to
the individual.

4. Cite some of the behavioral and mental aspects of a self-leader?

Some behavioral and mental aspect of a self-leadership are; Self-
awareness or Self-knowledge, identifying desire experiences, Constructive
thoughts and decision making and Planning and goal setting.

5. If you will become a leader to a certain community, what would be the

best behavior that you would possess?
If I will be a leader in a certain community, I possess being a Constructive
thoughts and decision making, because in making a decision it is needed
to be careful and, in that decision, you need to think first if that is good for
the member or community.

Preamble of the 1987 Philippine Constitution

Direction: Answer the following questions exhaustively. (5 points each)

1. The Good Citizenship Values based on the 1987 Philippine Constitution had
been clustered into four areas. Choose any one of the four clusters and
explain them.
In the four areas of cluster, I choose values because if you have values, you
are considering a faithful, respectful, caring, respect law and government
and patriotisms.

2. What is the purpose of the preamble?

The purpose of preamble is to inform to the listener what your topic all about
or the object of or topic, because preamble is important in all occasion or
in a program. Example in party if you are a speaker, you to introduce
yourself before to continue the flow of a party or program.

3. Who made the preamble?

The Preamble was created at the Constitutional Convention in the summer
of 1787. It was probably written by Governeur Morris, who drafted much of
the rest of the Constitution.

4. What are good questions to ask about the Constitution?

The good question to ask in the Constitutions are;
• Should the president have absolute power?
• Should government power to kept separate?
• Do humans still crave power?

5. Do you believe that the preamble is the key to the Constitution? Explain
why?
For me yes, because preamble is the knowledge in all constitutions has
been made. It provides a standard to test and evaluate laws and action of
government to find out if it is good or bad, so that preamble is the reason
why government has an idea to run.

Nationalism and National Pride

Direction: Answer the following questions exhaustively. (5 points each)

1. How would you develop your sense of nationalism and patriotism?

I develop my sense of nationalism the way of respecting the beliefs of my
country and to love my country that where I born, and to develop my sense
of patriotism in they of being proud of my country and if their something
wrong in my country I try to do my best to change it.

2. Why are your proud of being a Filipino? Choose any 5 of the national
symbols that make our country known to other countries. Make a collage
of these national symbols.

I’m proud of being a Filipino because Filipino is very helpful to every one
who needs and ready to face the difficult thing in times. Filipino people are
always welcomed even they unknown people also loving and caring that’s
why I love my country Philippines.
 3. In teaching nationalism as a LTS student, what nationalistic and patriotic
activities will you undertake and promote in the community?
The activities that I will undertake and promote is during Rizal’s day I want
that all people having a parade and wave our Flag of Philippines while the
others holding the picture of our hero Jose P. Rizal and sing our national
anthem “Lupang hinirang”. That activity I make is symbolize that we as a
Filipino we are proud and show our love of our country.

4. The Filipino Civic Code was formulated to ensure that patriotism can be
developed. Explain how the following can foster patriotism: reverence for
heroes, respect for law and authority, and justice and righteousness.
Patriotisms foster to the reverence for heroes, because of our heroes we
have a freedom to do what we want but in a good doing and if we have
no law and authority there’s no peace in our country, also without justice
and righteousness people do anything they want even it can hurt into
others and we can’t react even we are hurting.

5. Make an album of great Filipinos with accompanying short biographies.

JOSE PROTACIO RIZAL MERCADO Y ALONZO REALONDA

He was born on June 19, 1861 in Calamba, Philippines and he died on December 30, 1896 in
Manila. Jose Rizal was a patriot, physician as known as a man of letters and who was an
inspiration to the Philippines nationalist movement. He was studied in the University of Madrid in
Manila. A brilliant medical student, he soon committed himself to the reform of Spanish rule in
his home country. In 1887, Rizal was published his first novel “Noli Me Tangere” a passionate
exposure of the evils of Spanish rule in the Philippines also he publishes “El Filibusterismo” on
1891. Also, he become a leader of Propaganda Movement but he was arrested and tried for
sedition by the military. Found guilty, he was publicity execute by a firing squad in Manila. On the
eve of his execution, while confirmed in fort Santiago, Rizal wrote “Ultimo adion” (last farewell)
a masterpiece of 19th century Spanish verse.
 ANDRES BONIFACIO Y DE CASTRO

He was born on November 30, 1863 and he died on May 10, 1897. He was a Filipino
revolutionary leader the president of the Tagalog Republica he called “The Father of
the Philippines Revolution” and the supreme leader of KKK “Kataas-taasang,
kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng anak ng bayan” or commonly known as the
“Katipunan”. The first of six children of Catalina de Castro and Santiago Bonifacio
the alcalde of Tondo. He learned an alphabet through his mother’s sister. He was
enrolled in Guillermo Osmena’s private school and learned English while employed
as a clerk-messenger by a British firm. Bonifacio was blessed with good hands in
craftsmanship and visual arts that he made canes and paper fans, which he and his
young siblings sold. In his late teens, he worked as a mantadario (agent) for the
British trading firm Fleming and Company, where he rose to become a
corridor(broken) of tar, rattan and other goods. He was also a theater actor and
often played the role of Bernardo Carpio, a fictional character in Tagalog Folklore.
Bonifacio first wife, Monica, was his neighbor in Palomar, tondo. She died of leprosy
and they have no recorded children. In 1892 he meets 18-year-old Gregoria de
Jesus through his friend Teodora Plata, who was the one of founding member of
Jose Rizal’s La Liga Filipina, an organization which called for political reforms in
Spain’s colonial government of the Philippines.

The Good Citizenship Value of Patriotism

Direction: Answer the following questions exhaustively. (5 points each)

1. Explain the learning outputs of at least two (2) Good Citizenship Values.
Faithful in Almighty God- we as people has a big mistake in the world, we
can’t never remove in our mind that there is a God to protect and provide.
So that being faithful is the best doing for our self not only for yourself but
also for everyone.
Love- love to each other is the key of peaceful mind. If you love someone
it show also a sharing and respecting to everyone.

2. How is citizenship related to patriotism?

It relates because being in one’s country is enough for bring a patriotism. In
one’s country has a legal benefit, right, and privileges that imply the duty
of patriotism.

3. What are the values of a good citizen?

The value of being a good citizenship are; Respect, Honesty and
Trustworthiness, Integrity, Fair Go and Doing your best.

4. As a student, how can you show patriotism?

I relate to patriotism is in the way of voting wisely to those who deserve for
that position, celebrate national holidays and show my pride in my country
of my attitude, action, and conversation.

5. Why patriotism is always expressed in military terms?

War is the reason and considered that military sacrifice for our county. Our
freedom has been achieved by social and political so that this expression
of being a patriotism.
