Sub:- 4 Ianing of Madhya Pradesh /Maharashtra Border Nagpur section of NH-7 from
Km .652.000 (New Km .653.225) to Km .729.000 including construction of Kamptee-
Kanhan and Nagpur Bypass and Maintenance of already 4 laned sections from

Sir,
With reference to your office cited letter dated 25.03.2019 submitting therewith
thereby the proposal for revision and validation of user fee rates for Madhya Pradesh
/Maharashtra Border Nagpur section of NH-7 from Km.652.000 (New Km.653.225) to
Km .729.000 including construction of Kamptee-Kanhan and Nagpur Bypass and
Maintenance of already 4 laned sections from Km .14.585 to Km.36.600 NH-7.

2. In accordance with the power delegated to Regional Officer vide NHAI/Policy

Guidelines/" Modification in Delegation of Powers/2018 Policy No. 17.6.9 dated
13.03.2018, the approval of Regional Office is hereby conveyed for the revision of user fee
at toll plaza for the aforesaid stretch and applicable rate for the period 01 .04.2019 to
31 .03.2020 are reproduced below;

A) Toll Plaza-1 at Km 690.600 of Jabalpur-Nagpur section NH-7 along with check

toll plaza at Km 3.070 of KKBP.

3. Rate of monthly pass for a person who owns a mechanical vehicle registered for
non-commercial purpose and resides within a distance of twenty kilometers from the toll
plaza is Rs. 265/-(Rupees Two Hundred Sixty-five only) for the year 2019-20.

4. For the column vide which the fee for monthly pass is conveyed , it is clarified that
as per Clause 27 .5.2 of Concession Agreement , the concessionaire shall issue 50 or
more one way tickets at a discounted rate equivalent to 2/3rd if the Fee payable during the
period of one month from the date of payment of fee. The amount indicated in above letter
for monthly pass is for 50 trips. However, if any person asks pass for more than 50 trip
during a period of one month the concessionaire shall be required to issue such tickets at
a discounted rate as above i.e. if 60 trips are asked in a month by any person for a car the
amount is 60 x Rs . 128.9156x 2 /3 = Rs.5156.6236/- rounded to nearest Rs. 5/- i.e.
Rs.5155/-. Necessary action may be taken accordingly.

5. It is requested to take action for wide publicity of revised fee rate before its
implementation . The copy of calculation sheet is also enclosed for verification and
informing the discrepancy if any.
