Base on the data you have gathered in your Community Health Units, are their enough community
health workers?

- With all the data, I conclude that our community health workers are adequate. The Municipality
of Gattaran accommodates enough numbers of community health workers to handle each
barangay to give the efficient needs of the community people of their health. The means of the
health workers in the community is to prevent diseases, educate the community to have
knowledge and skill about health, and promote health. The community health workers try to
meet the community's needs about their health. We unforeseen of the happenings around us,
and it is better if each of us has knowledge and skills in dealing with our health by the guidance
of our community health workers.

In your own opinion, how will the government improve the community health in our country?

- They should prioritize increasing both the amount and quality of human resources, in my
opinion. It will be achievable if real competent individuals, particularly those capable of leading,
enabling, and inventing health-care services, are placed in appropriate positions. Employers
should lower the limits or qualifications for hiring willing persons so that they have more time to
perform intensive training on a community level based on their justified credentials, making it
more equitable for those with prior public health expertise. Additionally, when working as a
health worker in a public or private facility, there should be no hierarchy. Because employees
increasingly place too much value on working at prominent hospitals, and few, if any, overlook
the importance of community health, workplace variations should be more of a specialty than a
requirement. Our government should devise a strategy to compensate these unsung sacrifices
with higher pay and benefits. After all, they must be in responsible for identifying health needs,
allocating resources and delivering health services in their area.
