U:’Lady and ‘gentlemen, hoping you all have a great after’noon.

Today our group will bring to


you a presentation about a dish that not only has a great flavor but also good for your health and
the dish that I’m discussing today is hotdog. (It is a familiar dish to most of you)
H: Why are you saying that we are going to give a presentation about hotdog. If we are going to
discuss a dish that is good for health, we should consider salad as a reasonable replacement.
U: Oh, I’m making a little mistake. Let’s start again. Welcome to our presentation about salad.
First of all, I wanted to introduce our group and our team members. We are group 3, my name is
Uyen, Hung, Vuong and Duy. Everybody can call us Healthy Tomatoes.
V: And can I ask a question? Does anyone down there know what salad is? Don’t be shy if you
know the answer.
Thinh:I think that salad is a kind of food which is made by mixing vegetables into a bowl and
serving it for dessert after the main dishes.
V: Thanks for your answer, but that is not the answer that we wanted to discuss in this
presentation. Now, I’m going to discuss the definition for you and the class. A salad is a dish
comprising mixed, mostly natural ingredients with at least one raw ingredient. They are often
dressed and typically served at room temperature or chilled. Salads have a lot of types, so in this
presentation we are going to discuss tomato salad. It’s cheap, easy to make and healthy.
Thịnh:OK, I get it.
V:Well then, you already know the structure of the salad is like that. Do you know how to make
tomato salad yet?
H: I know. Simple way to do it. To make tomato salad, we need the following ingredients:
tomatoes, onion, olive oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, cucumber. Having all the ingredients we
needed, we will start making: first we will wash the vegetables, then peel the onion skins. After
that, we will mix chopped vegetables onto a bowl with spice. We are going to have a delicious
tomato salad. We could also have a boiled egg to eat with tomato salad because either way salad
would be served with an undeniable taste.
U: So where are we going to get all the ingredients that we need?
D: About this, I know where we are going to get all of this. We could get all the ingredients that
we needed simply by going to the Te Ba Nhat market, which is the market where the food there
is great and affordable to students. I think you will need less than 25k to get the ingredients for
the salad.
After knowing how to make and where to buy the needed ingredients for the salad, shall we
continue with the benefits that this simple food brings to our health?
U:First of all, tomato salad contains a lot of fiber, healthy fats that help us reduce stress and fill
us up quickly. It also helps build strong bones and stronger muscles. In addition, salad also
contains high levels of eg carotenoids, so it will prevent skin and prostate cancer. Finally, salad
could help us to get our dream body and improve our immune system. Above is the whole
process of making tomato salad and its benefits. We hope that our presentation will bring a lot of
useful information to you.
