Aim:
1) To know what is ullage
2) To know how to measure the ullage
3) To know why we take the ullage

Requirement for performing the Task:


1) Ullage Tape Sounding Tape
2) Chalk or water Finding Paste
3) Liquid cargo oil in cargo Tank.

Precaution to be observed:
1) Any metallic tape is lower in cargo Tank after 30 minutes liquid cargo Loaded.
2) Ullage tape to be touched to the ullage port before Bob goes in Liquid.

kept separate.

Aim

Requirement for performingthe task:


1) Multipurpose trolley
2) 20 Liters paint drums
3) Stowing on the rack with rope or wire for Lashing.
Precautions to be observed:
1) Do not roll drum on deck.
2) 20 liters paint drum should turn up side down and after one month down side
up. So that pigment in a drum will not settle bottom of the drum

(1) 20 liters paint drums lifted from jetty in a pallet or net sling to the ship.
(2) Use tray or pallet on cargo net for slinging paint drums.
(3) Drum can be shifted from one place to another place by using multipurpose
trolley or can be lifted drum manually by using kinetic method and handling.
(4) Drum can be carried on shoulders and stow in the rack in the paint store.
