LP highlighted about the Neutral Section situated in ADI-SBI Sr. DEE (TrDyADI
A section whose 500-M Board has been fixed at KM 497/22,
250-M Board fixed at KM 497/30 & D/J Open Board fixed at
KM 498/4, Further, it was seen that D/J Open Board was in
approach & close vicinity of Signal No. S-3 of SBI A', which
makes it difficult for the LP to perform mandatory activities
related to Neutral section as well as observe aspect of this signal.
LP further pointed out about the Neutral Section situated in
JKA-VG block section whose D/J Open Board is in close
vicinity of Dn Starter & Dn Advanced Starter Signals of JKA
station.
It would be prudent to arrange for shifting of Neutral Section
away from any Stop Signal (as enumerated in ACTM) since
observance of signal aspect alongwith carrying-out other
activities in Lococould diverttheattention oftrain crew
2 On perusing the list of Caution-Orders issued to the train, it was Sr. DEN (Co)/ADI
noted that, in case of speed restrictions in ABD-SAU block Sr. DOM/ADI
section, SR of 20 KMPH was to be observed in between KM
512/24-512/40 followed by SR of 45 KMPH in section between
KM 512/40-513/34. Thereafter, SR of 20 KMPH was to be
observed in section between KM 517/30-518/04. LP
complained that it was not possible to pick-up speed in such a
case & as a result, there is considerable time-loss in the entire
stretch from KM 512/24 to KM 518/04. This may be reviewed
& modified, if need be.
3 Some of the SR boards were seen to be fixed on OHE Masts, Sr. DEN (Co)/ADI
which is not proper. All Engg. SR boards should be erected on Sr. DEE (TrD)/ADI
ground on a post by itself.
4 It was informed that AC was not working in Loco Cab. This is Sr. DEE (TRS/BRC
tobe got attended early.
5. Loco headlight was seen to be bulb-lit and had poor focus. It Sr. DEE (TRS)BRC
may be replaced powerful LED headlight for the convenience of
crew
Wrong time was being shown in the Driver's Display in Cab-2, Sr. DEE (TRSVBRC
which needsto be attended on priority
7 It was seen that Repeater Signal has been provided on PF No. Sr. DSTE (CoVADI
of Viramgam station. However, R-marker is to be painted over
its Signal Unit for the guidance of train crew & TM.
