PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
It is two-component, elastomeric system, 100% solvent free and 100%solid material. The product is aromatic and very
resistant against weathering aging (excluding optical discoloration that occurs by time). Applied product gives seamless
monolith surface. It takes the shape of the surface without form joints or grouts.

APPLICATION

Application material should be clean and dry from dust, moisture, grease and other contaminants. Suitable primers can be
used depending on the desired level of adherence, long-term adhesion stability and adhesion to metal surfaces. Plastic
materials surface should be cleaned, molds that can be found on the surface needs to be removed. Surface abrading and
sandblasting can provide better adhesion.

• Application method: 2 layers, Cross.

• In order to have minimum consumption, smooth surface is preferred. Holes or patches on the surface needs to be
filled. To stop formation of bubbles during repairing of damaged floors and Wall surfaces; porosity of the surface
should be as little as possible; and must be free from contaminants such as rust, dust and oil. Duayen primer should
be used after surface remodeling.
• Concrete surface should be mechanically compact/sound and should be resistant to 1.4MPa flexural tensile strength.

• A new concrete should wait for at least 28 days before Duayen Spray application.
• The humidity on the concrete should be controlled. Application can be done with maximum 4%.
• If the concrete is new and the weather conditions are appropriate, Duayen Spray can be applied directly without the
use of primer.
• The temperature of the application surface should be 3 °C above the dew point of the air temperature. It is important
for safe application.
• It is recommended to apply epoxy primer if the temperature is below +8°C.
• Application cannot be done is the surface is ice bound.
• At the start of the application, the product can be very soft or too hard depending on the surface temperature. The
product starts gaining strength in 1-2 hours after application and reaches 95% of its strength after 1 day. It reaches full
strength in 1 week.
• If the concrete needs moisture barrier membrane, then it should definitely be applied before Duayen Spray
application.
• Sand-blasting is definitely required for steel surfaces. ISO 8501-1, degree of smoothness R≤130-170µm.
• Sand-blasting is definitely required for tile surfaces. A thin layer of Duayen Epoxy primer should be applied after sand-
blasting followed by application of Duayen Spray.

a) Start with machine preparation

40 cm intervals.

b) Hydro insulation
Duayen MS-954 is applicable.
It can be applied on materials like asphalt, concrete etc.

APPLICATION OF DUAYEN SPRAY MS954 AS TOP COAT:

Can be used in new construction or during reconstruction; on top of old industrial floorings, roofs, walls, pools, garages. It
can be a little rough when applied as a top coat. Pouring quartz onto the surface can make it slip-resistant (slip-resistivity
can be increased). The desired top coat color can be achieved by applying Duayen A-324 top coat paint.

NEW BUILDINGS

a) Surface Preparation
- Sweeping
- Fill the cleaned grout joints with polyurethane based sealant
- Apply 2 component epoxy primer (Liquid, resin, 1 mm)
- Pour quartz by sprinkling on the freshly applied primer
- Sweeping the remaining quartz sand when its dried
- Sandblast and again sweep the surface

b) Final Stage
Application of Duayen MS954.

OLD SURFACE RECONSTRUCTION AND PREPARATION:

During surface reconstruction;

a) Start with mechanical preparation

cm intervals.
• The floor should be clean and free from oil
• Perform sandblasting (for metal surface)
• Corrections should be done with rock abrasives
• Final sandblasting

b) Final Stage;
Application of Duayen MS954. During roof reconstruction, depending on the condition of the roof, Duayen Spray
can be applied directly. It can also be applied directly on old asphalt. Cleaning is not required for old asphalt.

PACKAGING & STORAGE

All components when stored in a dry environment and untouched original packaging can be stored for 6 months.
Safe storage temperature range 16°C - 30°C: packages should be kept away from sunny and frosty conditions. In any case
(used or unused), the drum should be always closed.

HEALTH AND SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

Chemical reactions occur within minutes under normal operating conditions; when using high pressure system machine, the
blowing air maybe contaminated with micro structures that can result in some allergic symptoms.

Therefore, use appropriate protective equipment during application

Use proper ventilation system if the application is done in a closed area

Avoid reverse airflow
Use protective gloves
Use protective clothing
Use protective goggles
Minimal respiratory protective mask (mouth and nose)
Use mask if there is insufficient air ventilation

When contact with chemical

Skin : Wash with plenty of water and soap immediately
Eyes : Wash with plenty of water
Seek medical attention when necessary.

Avoid eye and skin contact with uncured materials due to irritation effects; in case of any contact, the body should be
washed immediately with soap and water. Consult medical help is necessary.
Avoid food contamination with uncured materials. It is highly dangerous to approach application area with fire. Product
should be kept out of reach of children.

RISKS

• Materials (chemicals) are not flammable in nature

• In situation where there is chemical spillage, pour absorbents (sand, sawdust, soil) then gather and dispose it in
appropriate disposal. Spillage area should be washed with water and detergent.
In any case, disposal should be done according to local laws

Due to the specific application, job security responsibility and the responsibility of system component storage are obligated
by the practitioner.
