1) The main heater element terminal box shall be a type suited to the area classification (Zone 2) with minimum protection IP65 (IEC 60529)
2) Heater provided with intrinsic temperature protection @ 155 °C , Maximum reachable coil surface Temperature to be compatible with T3 Class.
3) Local Control Panel shall be required for the operator to initiate the sequence
Local Control Panel shall have the following push buttons/Indicators:
a) Local Manual Permissive selector switch (Key switch) to allow local activation of the heating process and an indication in the control room.
b) Local Start and Stop button;
c) Local heater control panel shall be equipped with a contactor to switch on and off the heater.
d) Lamps showing heater ON/OFF status;
e) Lamps showing trace heating ON/OFF status;
f) Analogue KO Drum level indicator.
g) Analogue KO Drum Temperature Indicator;
h) Analogue Gas to Flare Flow Indicator;
i) Local Remote control panel shall be EXD type
4) Remote Control Panel (Close to Blow Down Valve Area) shall be required for the operational to control Heating sequence on KO Drum:

b) Analogue KO DRUM Level Indicator, Analogue KO DRUM Temperature Indicator;
