First of all I would like to apologize to Dr Azmi for making his work complicated and I am really sorry
for the inconvenience. I truly apologize . I started seeing so many red flags right after I accepted the
offer.

I just realised that one of my coursemates have applied for CAAT Engineering job application on
LinkedIn and he decided to reject the offer because he has found another offer that seems to be a
better one . After he rejected the offer, the person in charge on LinkedIn said stuff like “we missing
you” to him . For me this is a sign of unprofessionalism . This is a screenshot of a conversation

I also have told him that I am classified as a close contact when I was in my apartment and had
to quarantine for 7 days so I couldn’t meet up with him to discuss about my tasks. He then
admitted that he had transferred all my tasks to another intern without discussing with me. We
first agreed that it will be a remote internship but when I asked about it, he seemed to lose his
patience and does not really want me to work remotely but I am fine with that and ready for
discussions. I drove to the office to at least introduce myself that I will be working here as an
intern and to have a proper discussion, but he admitted that no one was there so I drove there
for nothing. He called me and said he wanted to initiate a virtual meeting to discuss about my
tasks and would send me the link at 9:30 pm on the 1st of March but he did not send me any link
and in fact has not mentioned anything or initiate a conversation after that night.
Now, I really do not know the tasks that I should be doing since there have never been a proper
discussion with my supervisor.. I also am uncertained about the job scope on whether it relates
to the department that I applied for on Linkedin which is the Finance position. I know this will
make Dr Azmi’s work more complicated, and I am truly sorry for that. I am really hoping that Dr
can consider to officially change my registration under another company which I have recently
gotten an offer. I am truly sorry again Dr Azmi.
