I got in contact with AdmitKard during the last week of June 2022.

Had a few calls with their sales teams in this week who told me about
their services and what they had to offer, reviewed my CV and
profile, and told me they would connect me with an admissions
consultant when I make the
payment. During this week, I had shared my CV, marksheets and
test score reports to the company.

From the 2nd to the 8th of July 2022, I received one call every day till
I made the payment of Rs. 60,000 (on the 8th) for their best service
offering - the platinum membership. For the next 3 days, no one
contacted me via email, phone call or Whatsapp (all these channels
were used extensively
before I had paid). On the 10th of July, I reached out to them asking
for an update. I got assigned to Vijay Bhattacharya who was
supposed to be a SENIOR CONSULTANT and was to help me
throughout my application journey. In the next 2 weeks, i had
contacted Vijay multiple times for updates on our discussions and got
little to no feedback or support from him. Note that my applications
were due starting early September.
After being disregarded and ignored by my SENIOR CONSULTANT
for 12 days, I contacted the owner of AdmitKard - Piyush on the 22nd
of July, asking him to reassign me to a different person due to Vijay's
incompetence. I got assigned to Sujen Kumar, my new consultant.
Sujen called me on the 23rd of July explaining thoroughly how he will
help me in every part of my application journey. This was a 45-
minute call. Over the next month, till 23" August, I did not speak to
Sujen for more than 20
minutes combined. Similar to what happened with my previous
consultant, I was ignored by Sujen,
he did not respond to my whatsapp messages, and ignored my
phone calls. On the 6th of August, I shared my desired list of colleges
with Sujen. I did not hear back, or even get a confirmation that he
received my email. I repeatedly tried to contact him from the 10th to
the 16th of August. I called, email'd and messaged him on whatsapp,
Did not even get a single reply. Later he stated that it was because of
Raksha bandhan and Independence Day. Understandable that these
are holidays, from the 10th to 16th Sujen had 2 full days (minus 1
Rakhi 1 independence 2 weekend) to respond. On the 16" he
responded and asked me to send my documents. I sent the
documents in the next 2-3 days and again did not get any response
from him for a week. On the 23d he messaged
me on whatsapp that editing of my docs has begun and that's it. No
other communication received from him. Please note that by this time
I have less than 2 weeks to complete my applications. On the 24th of
August, I reached out to Piyush the owner again, stating the poor
services his company provided and how I was utterly disappointed in
any efforts made by his team of
"consultants". Kindly note my urgency in the matter as I was following
a timeline for colleges which started in the first week of September. I
had been reaching out to AdmitKard immediately after any
incident or progression. Apart from Piyush, no consultant showed the
same or even a remotely close level of importance.
The same evening, I got contacted by Priyanka, the "Lead
Consultant". She told me she would look
into my matter and personally take charge of my applications. She
told me to keep calm as they would easily help me submit my
applications before the due dates. She promised that the turnaround
time for the editing team was 1 working day and any document I
shared would be edited and sent back to me in 1 day. I got in touch
with the Editor Deepika. I had shared my first draft of my
SOP with Deepika 2 weeks ago and got NO inputs on it except her
saying that it was very generic.
After a heated argument with her as well as with Priyanka I made it
clear that I need material changes to be made in my essays and
quantifiable work to be done from their end. I had shared myCV with
them and further shared 2 of the 3 essays by the 29t of August. By
this point I had shared almost 10 documents with the AdmitKard
team. Including CVs, essays, LORs etc. I expected that I would
receive edited documents as they had promised. By the start of
September, I only received
inputs that "my inputs on the essays are very generic and need to be
discussed". Priyanka very well knew the timelines of my colleges.
She knew they were due in less than a week. And yet she took 3
days to tell me that I needed to provide more inputs for the editing
team to EVEN start on the essays. Of the 10 documents I shared I
only received 1 edited document back which was the CV. This
was sent to me by Priyanka but was worked on by the editing team.
The CV that was shared with me was 100x worse than what I had
shared with them. There were spelling errors, logical errors,
grammatical errors, alignment errors and whatnot. The CV I shared
had none of these issues and
was good to be used. In fact I had used that CV to apply to colleges
and jobs earlier. The CV that they shared after the "editing" looked
like it was written by a 5th grader. Attaching both files for reference.
When I confronted Priyanka about the quality of the only document
that they edited and shared back with me, she admitted that she
didn't even READ the CV before sharing it to me. Further' she started
blaming me that I had an attitude problem and that this was ably the
1' draft of the CV. She tried pretending that this is all under control
and rationalized the fact that the edited version of my CV was worse
than the one I shared.
At this point I had 5 days left for my application deadline. I decided I
could not rely on this company anymore and took on the application
myself. I would have started working on it months earlier if it wasn't
for AdmitKard's lies and its fraudster consultants. AdmitKard cost me
not only time and money, but also ruined my chances of getting an
admission. With my profile it would not have been very hard to create
a good application. But creating a good application in 5 days is next
to impossible
regardless of how good your profile is. In all our conversations, their
team was completely unprepared, had done zero research or due
diligence and were just going with the flow. They tried to manipulate
me during every step of the process. Kept asking me for more inputs
and more documents and provided nothing at all from their
end.
I had entrusted Admitkard with my application process in early July
and by early September I got ZERO services provided to me. They
ignored me and tried to gaslight me into believing that everything is
under control, and I am the source of the problem. In these 3 months,
their team of editors and consultants did not give me a single service
which a professional would provide. Their reviews are filled with 5
stars which are very clearly fake. If you look at their 1-star reviews
EVERYONE says the same things I have stated, and everyone faces
the same issues with this company. They are preying on vulnerable
students applying to colleges and are nothing but a complete scam.
