INTESTINE
INTESTINE
MAXIMIZE ABSORPTION-
LARGE INTESTINE • HERBIVORES HAVE LONGER INTESTINE.

WAAHHH, MAZAA AA RHA HAI!!!
2. RESPIRATION
A process in living organisms involving the production of energy,
typically with the intake of oxygen and the release of carbon dioxide
from the oxidation of complex organic substances.

BREATHING
1)BREATHING 2) CELLULAR RESPIRATION
3 PATHWAYS OF GLUCOSE BREAKDOWN

3. TRANSPORTATION
There are three types of blood vessels
•Arteries
•Veins
•Capillaries
Valves present in the veins ensure that the blood flows only towards the heart.

ARTERIES VEINS
Carry oxygenated blood Carry deoxygenated blood
from heart to the body from body parts to heart
parts except pulmonary except pulmonary vein
artery

Also called distributing Also called collecting

vessel vessel
Thick and elastic Thin and less elastic
Deepseated (far from the Superficial (near to the
skin) skin) as compared to
arteries
Blood
Blood is a connective tissue which is fluid in nature.
The solid components of Blood(Blood corpuscles) are:
RBC(Red Blood Cells) – It carries oxygen and carbon dioxide and also contains
Hemoglobin which imparts red colour to the blood
WBC(White Blood Cells) – It provides body defense by engulfing the germs and
produces antibodies
Blood Platelets – During any injury, it helps in blood clotting
Liquid components (Plasma) – It is a yellow coloured fluid which is 90% water and
10% organic substances
Lymph
It is a yellowish fluid which escapes from the blood capillaries into the intercellular
spaces
It contains less proteins than blood
It flows from tissues to the heart which helps in transportation and destroying germs
TRANSPORTATION IN PLANTS
4. EXCRETION
HUMAN
EXCRETORY SYSTEM
BUS KARO MASTER..
CO2
Water-Transpiration
Oxygen-Photosynthesis
Dead cells-Dry leaves fall off.
Waste products -Cellular vacuoles.
Other waste products are stored as resins and gums.
Plants also excrete some waste substances into
the soil around them.
