We hereby inform you that Park Hyatt Jakarta has given permission to import goods with the
following information:
Dengan ini kami beritahukan bahwa pihak Park Hyatt Jakarta telah memberikan ijin untuk
memasukkan barang – barang dengan keterangan sebagai berikut:
Using guest facilities including guest escalators, elevators, restrooms and passing through
guest areas
Smoking, eating, sleeping, singing or making noise in function rooms and within hotel
premises
Storing any materials in the emergency exit hallway, emergency staircase and service
area / hotel kitchen
Spray painting, sawing and using electric construction tools (drill & saw) for safety issue.
If it has to be done, you are required to use a heavy duty carpet protection cover
(plastic/plywood based)
Placing heavy objects, concrete or cement, ceramic pots, trees and other heavy objects
without using a multiplex/triple base
Lingering around beyond the designated working area after the work/construction is
complete, apart from the loading dock area. The exception is only for one or two people
who are in charge of supervising during the event, and should be acknowledged by the
user/client and the hotel staff
Installing and lighting fireworks (pyro/indoor fireworks). Fireworks usage must be
approved by hotel management
Lighting up candles as decorations on the carpet, adjacent to styrofoam/paper or other
flammable materials. Candles usage must be approved by hotel management
Bringing hazardous flammable items, such as gasoline
Nailing, sticking or other similar actions to pillars, walls, carpets, stages, ceilings and or
other parts of the hotel building
9. All work done in the event venue/function room must be covered with plastic base or carpet.
10. Vehicle display in the event venue/function room must be properly covered using vehicle
ramp/stage. The process of delivering the vehicle to the display area must use multiplex/plywood
base as under liner along with the carpet. The fuel tank volume must be under E indicator. It is
required to inform the vehicle dimensions (height, length, width & weight) to the hotel in advance.
11. Electricity supply should come from source that is determined/approved by hotel Engineering
Department and is equipped with overload safety precautions.
12. Electrical cables must be covered or protected from non-conducting materials. Hotel
engineering department has the right to not provide electrical power if improper wires and
improper connections between cables are found.
13. Use of extension cords must be in accordance with the power and not in the form of a rolled
cord. The use of rolled cables must be covered with multiplex / plywood and with the
acknowledgement of the hotel Engineering Department.
14. Workers are required to clean and remove trash or debris from the work area 3 hours before
the event starts.
15. Construction must be dismantled, cleaned and transported outside, immediately after the
event is finished or prior written approval from the hotel.
16. Workers are expected to look after work or personal belongings. The hotel is not responsible
for the loss of work or personal belongings, as long as the workers are in the hotel environment.
17. The contractor is required to pay a security deposit in cash at IDR 15,000,000,- (for Ballroom,
Residence and Observatory), no later than 2x24 hours prior to start the work.
18. The employee's failure to comply with the hotel regulations mentioned above will result in a
deduction or non-refund of the security deposit.
19. If there is detrimental event caused by the negligence of the contractor, the hotel will not be
responsible. The hotel has the right to: I. Request the manager of the worker/contractor to stop
one or more workers who violate these regulations. II. Prohibit continuing work, if all or most of
the workers/contractors violate the provisions set out above. III. Prohibit work that is not notified
and approved in advance by the Event Sales Department or the Event Service Department. IV.
Demand compensation for physical damage caused by the negligence of the workers/contractors
within the hotel premises. Thus, this Code of Conduct was made to be obeyed for the smooth
running of the event on the organizers part.
