METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION – FAÇADE WORKS

SN PROJECT REQUIREMENTS BIDDER RESPONSE

1 The Bidder shall submit together with its Bid an
outline of its proposed method statement,
which shall clearly define the sequence of
construction, the co-ordination of the Works (if
applicable) with stakeholders and all other
relevant factors to allow ALEC to properly
evaluate the Bidder’s proposal. Details of this
shall be included under this schedule.
2 The Bidder is required to demonstrate in the
method statement how the Works will be
sequenced to allow ALEC to evaluate the
Bidder’s approach to the Works. The
sequencing shall be demonstrated via
numerous phasing plans/drawings covering the
duration of the Works and which clearly
demonstrate all requirements of the Bid
Documents. As a minimum, the Tenderer shall
provide one phasing plan/drawing for each 4-
month duration of the Works.
3 The detailed method statement demonstrating the Bidder's proposed method to carry out
the Works, shall also include:
3.1 Proposed overall construction sequence for the
Façade Works
3.2 Proposed (partial) handover strategy to comply
with SEVEN’s requirements in terms of Early
Access to Tenant units
3.3 List of applicable Authority approvals relevant
to the Scope of Works
3.4 Proposed content of handover/close-out
documents (As-Built drawings, maintenance
manuals and relevant test reports) to be
issued upon Completion of the Works
3.5 Stakeholder and Interface management plan
