Department of Law Alumni Association

Meet

The first meet of the Alumni Association of the Department of

Law, University of Mumbai was held, at Room No.144 on 31 st Jan
2019 at 2:00pm. The occasion was chaired by the Chief Guest
Hon’ble Shri Justice Hosbet Suresh, Former Judge of Bombay
High Court. The occasion was participated by Dr. Sunil Bandekar,
Director Health Care, Breach Candy Hospital. The Chief Guest
expressed his pleasure for the formation of Alumni Association
and congratulated the Department of Law. Dr. Sunil Bandekar
also expressed his gratitude towards the formation of Alumni
Association and offered all possible help for future activities of
the association. Also present were 30 Alumni from different legal
fields. All were happy to know the formation of the Alumni
Association and expressed their willingness towards the
department. The occasion was held under the leadership of Head
of the Department of Law, Dr. Rajeshri Varhadi who motivated
and inspired the formation of Alumni Association. Dr. Sanjay
Jadhav took initiative and personal efforts in organizing the
function. The Alumni volunteered to express their views and
experiences at the dais. Each of them opined that they were
benefited by the Department of Law in their professional life and
shared their views about unique teaching of the Department of
Law.

The program was ended with vote of thanks and followed by

national anthem.
