1. On the first hazard, we can solve it through elimination. Rubbish on the ground can be eliminated or
remove by throwing it on a proper garbage/trash bin.

2. On the second hazard, the best way to solve unsecured chemicals is also through elimination. If the
chemicals are just unnecessary, we can now eliminate it. But if you can still make use of the chemicals,
we can just isolate or locate it on a safe enclosed area or chemical storage.

3. On the third hazard, we can solve lifted machine guarding through substitution. We can either replace
the equipment itself with a safer one or just replace the machine guarding.

4. On the fourth hazard, we can solve it through elimination. We can remove it by wiping or mopping
the water on the floor.

5. On the fifth hazard, we can isolate people from the hazard since we don’t know when uneven stacked
material will fall. We can locate or provide a storage area for the materials. But we can also provide a
barrier as second option.

6. On the sixth hazard, we can use engineering control solve it. If there are no other way than to walk in
front of the forklift, the best hazard control measure is to redesign the workplace. The workplace must
have a safe pathway for the workers away from the forklift.

7. On the seventh hazard, we can also locate the pallets blocking the fire exit. We can remove the pallet
and place it on a safe storage area. For another option, we can redesign the workplace and put the
emergency fire exit on a place where it will not be block.

8. On the last hazard, we can solve it through substitution. Since the forklift was stacked too high, it is
smart to replace the forklift with a new one or repair it from being stacked.
