Subject: Site Instructions Note

Dear Sir,

The Standard Penetration Test (SPT) being conducted by Commercial laboratory M/S Soil
Testing Services (STS) on the site of the Seawater Desalination Plant should be carried out
in accordance with the required standards and specifications, and samples should be
collected for additional testing. We will only oversee and not verify all the tests and activities
being carried out following SPT till its comprehensive results are received, verified by the
Designer, and presented to Consultant NESPAK .When its results are available and the
designer will confirm that the SPT results meets Specifications, we will validate all tests and
activities being carried out after SPT.
