PUBLIC SPEAKING – RULES AND GUIDELINES

1. Eligibility:- This competition is open to grade 7 & 8 pupils of KVM

School.

2. This competition is allowed if participants are from under enrolled schools.

3. Contestant will speak on the issue, “Way to Control Pollution in Big

Cities And Citizens’ Role”
4. Contestants must use school uniform when competing.
5. Each speech will be timed and must between 3-5 minutes in duration.
6. Contestant order will be determined by a random drawing at the time of the
contest.
7. The contestants and audience will be present for speeches.
8. Ties will be broken by the judges.

9. The decision of the judges is final.

10. Individual marks will not be disclosed

11.Note: - The text and presentation must not be an exact replica.

12.Time limit is 3-5 minutes. Participants will be given a 30 second reminder

before the minimum time is met and a 30 second warning before the end of
time period. Penalty of 2 points for any fraction of 30 seconds over or under
time.
