What is the influence of emotion on learning and memory ?

Emotions are the thing we feel every time we experience anything in our daily life.
The emotions of the individuals usually changing in a day, and it depends on the
perception of that person to the environment.
We don’t have much concern about it as we grow old and busy on a daily basis.
It is not a secret that we go through a lot of emotional upheaval throughout our lives that
help us develop as people.
As we grow old, we give attention so much to our emotions and attitudes because we
care about our experience and feelings.
Emotions play a major role in literally everything we experience in our life.
Among the everything, emotions have a great impact on our cognitive processes like
learning, memory and problem solving skills. If a person is in too many emotions, he
could not get an attention to learn and solve the problems. If there is not enough
attention, individual’s memory can be fully functioning. So, it can also in turn lead to
difficulty in learning.
Psychologist have demonstrated that happiness has a positive effect on learning,
memory, and behavior while prolonged emotional distress like anger and sadness
impair the individual’s capacity of learning.
Emotions also encode information and contribute to information retention and retrieval.
Therefore, a person should control their emotions to be able to learn new things and
solve the problems.
