PROS AND CONS OF GREEN REVOLUTION

EXPLANATION:

This is my simple digital illustration of the two sides of the Green Revolution. The advantages
and disadvantages in our society—health, biodiversity, etc. As you can see on the left side of
my illustration, it shows most of the pros and advantages of the green revolution in our society
and economy. One of its advantages is that, as a result of the green revolution, food crops are
growing faster, resulting in lower food crop prices. And there will also be an increase in rural
employment in every part of the world. On the other hand, the right side of the illustration
shows some of the disadvantages of the green revolution. Soil quality will deteriorate, health
impacts will worsen, and regional disparities will widen.
