c. SIGNIFICANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for training, assessing and counseling Officer Candidates in both the UTARNG Pre-phase and the regional accelerated OCS
programs. Instructs military leadership skills in an intense training environment through the implementation of a phased-approach of
applying high military discipline to mentor and develop future Commissioned Officers. Supervised assigned Platoon Trainers both Officers
and NCOs in the execution of similar duties. Conducts rigorous APFT, and Army Weight Control Program; plans, develops, and executes
training of Officer Candidates both in classroom and field environment; assess student leadership capabilities during field training exercises
(FTX). Serves as OCS Training Team OIC; assists and advises OCS commander to more effectively conduct the OCS state directed mission.
Utilizes the principles of Risk Management to identify and mitigate hazards to ensure that all training and operations are performed in a safe
manner.

CPT Carlile is a dynamic and passionate instructor. He provided products that improved OCS training quality and increased levels of learning of Officer
Candidates preparing to attend Accelerated Officer Candidate School at regionally alligned RTI. CPT Carlile was requested to submit an OER Support
Form on multiple occasions prior to end of rating period but the officer elected not to provide them.
