Effective Communication

Teaching and learning require clear and concise communication. Teachers who are good

communicators can connect with their students on both an emotional and intellectual level,

gaining their trust and faith. Their demeanor demonstrates hard work, dependability, and

patience. They can also effectively collaborate with other faculty members, parents, and

members of the general public. As a result, I believe that applicants to the Medgar Evers College

School of Education should be required to demonstrate their ability to effectively communicate.

There must be both a sender and a receiver of information in order for communication to

take place effectively. Communication can only take place when two people exchange

information. Excellent communication makes it possible to establish a secure space for children

to learn, grow, and succeed. Communication skills are critical to a child's long-term development

and education. The best approach to learn excellent communication is through formal education,

which can be used in a variety of situations.

Teachers must be able to communicate effectively with the parents of their students'

students. To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to communicate well both orally and

in writing, whether it's through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings. Effective teaching

necessitates teachers who can communicate clearly while also actively listening to their students.

Be clear in your thinking so that you can effectively communicate your ideas. By breaking down

difficult concepts into smaller, digestible pieces, teachers can make their students'

comprehension of the material easier.

In conclusion, for teachers to be effective, they must be able to adapt their

communication methods to meet the needs of their students. They may be able to "read" their

students and alter their teaching accordingly. For effective communication, one must be able to

entertain the ordinary and have outstanding presentation skills.
